Your diary, your decision

LogBark privacy

The current LogBark app stores your diary and media on your device. You choose when to share a copy.

On your device

Sound classification runs on your device. The app does not create an account, upload recordings, use advertising or send analytics. Diary data and media are excluded from cloud backup. Microphone permission is used for listening and audio notes. Camera permission is used when you choose to capture a photo or video.

Export and sharing

PDF, CSV and ZIP exports are files you choose to share through your device. Your selected destination then handles the copy under its own rules. Audio, notes, images and attachment metadata can contain personal information. Review these before sharing. Switching off the diary location field does not remove information inside your notes or attachments.

Retention and deletion

Detection clips are retained with the diary; they are not removed by a rolling clip limit. You can delete a stopped diary and its referenced media from its screen. Deleting the app removes its local records. Export copies you need to retain; copies already shared or saved elsewhere must be managed separately.

This website

The site uses no analytics scripts, advertising cookies or third-party fonts. When hosted, normal server access logs may contain connection information such as IP address, requested path and user agent. The printable template works without an account.
